Pixel art from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Konami for NES, 1989.
I love Oshawott, but was having trouble reconciling him with any sort of real-world physiognomy. Hence, today’s warm-up sketch! Oshawott has a lot to offer.
Spent a morning doing some studies of Charles Dance as Tywin Lannister. Easily one of my fave characters in the show- I also thought it was kind of badass that the aforementioned Mr. Dance is scornful of the weekly obligatory tits.
was reading the Monster Manual and came across the Owlbear- remembered finding this creature combo hilarious when playing through a Dragon Quest Game (maybe 5?) Threw in the froggish mouth of a Potoo, for the heckins.
So yeah, Owlbear.
Animated Movie Sketch- Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Finished this a while ago, FINALLY got round to scanning it in and posting it! This was done at A3 size and being new to inking it took a while. I definitely learned a lot, and hopefully it’ll help me improve in the future.
it’s gorgeous, Chris- nice work :)
Been having a lot of fun prepping for my first ever D&D game, so felt compelled to doodle up some of the characters we’ve made up so far. From right to left : Ruddigon Druddiger: Formerly wealthy Dragonborn fighter with a gambling problem, Ki Cravensloft: Cowardly lute-playing rogue elf and Pandaa: Halfling Warlock with an enthusiasm for woo-ing “hot men”.
